Chairman Profile

I, K. Venkanna, had studied M.Sc. Mathematics and also acquired an MBA from IITB and Washington University, USA, and a one-year professional course in the Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) from IIMB. I started my professional career in the year 2000 as an assistant professor of mathematics at undergraduate and postgraduation levels.

Later, I founded the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMS) in 2008 in New Delhi. This startup fulfills the need for mathematics optional subject coaching in preparation for the civil service examination.

My strong background is to train a plethora of students as achievers in the civil service examination. Under my guidance, All India First Rank (IAS-2018, IFoS-2019, IFoS-2015) with Mathematics optional have been achieved three times, and many more students within the Top-10 and beyond Ranks and recently achieved in Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Ranks 1, 2, 5, and many more got cleared. Which has promoted a sense of responsibility and an ideology of service.

As this first project successfully grew, I furthered the idea of opening K. Venkanna Junior College, Hyderabad (rec. by Govt. of Telangana) with the aim of making students achieve success even in competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NEET, and CA.

As per my understanding, knowledge is not power unless it is shared. Therefore, the focus is to generously help some. Being an educator, my basic interest is to develop the young children of our country in the education sector by having entrepreneurial skills and manufacturing skills, research skills, and leadership skills, to name a few.
